Hand-crafted by CJ Connoy.
Founder and director. Thirty-two years in AAA production and creative leadership — now personally building faithful digital companions for tabletop creators, one game at a time.
The biggest rooms in games taught me one thing: finished is a craft.
Over a decade at Treyarch on Call of Duty: Black Ops 1–4. Sports titles at Sony PlayStation — NFL, NCAA, NBA, MLB — where the ship date arrives every season whether you're ready or not. And twice, Sony trusted me to help stand up a brand-new AAA studio from zero: Founding Senior Producer at Deviation Games, then Founding Senior Lead, Design at SIE's Dark Outlaw Games.
I don't just produce — I design and build.
At Dark Outlaw I started the co-op prototype that became the foundation of the studio's main AAA IP. That's the pattern I trust: the senior person hands-on, interpreting and building until the thing is real. One Day Games runs the same way — I direct finished work into existence, start to ship. The studio got its name the day I designed, built, and shipped a finished game in a single day.
When you work with One Day Games, you work with me — directly, on your game, start to ship. No account team, no hand-off. The person who built What's Under Your Bed? and Trash Dice is the person building yours.
Two studios have trusted me with their games.
Lethal Chicken Games handed me their monsters; Big Discoveries handed me Trash Dice. Both became faithful digital companions — a love letter, not a copy. I reinterpret, I don't reinvent.
Alex Mackey and Mike Szalajko's tabletop horror game, reinterpreted for a phone in a dark room — match your Monster Cards against the clock before the thing under the bed comes out for you.

Digital companion · Lethal Chicken Games
The push-your-luck dice game by Big Discoveries, now an instant-play companion you can hand anyone in a group chat. Roll to win, dodge the bin, and unlock new dice as the round wins stack up — their game's whole junkyard attitude, faithful in a new medium.

Your game stays yours.
I build the companion — you keep the IP, and it sends players back to your table.
